The Town of Caledon is located in the Region of Peel and has a population of approximately 57,000. In terms of land use, Caledon is primarily rural, but it does consist of many urban areas, villages, and hamlets. Maclean’s magazine named Caledon as the safest town in Canada to live in for 2008 and 2009.
